Port Stephens Machining is a CNC turning and milling shop in Port Stephens. We make precision parts to a drawing, and we make parts when there is no drawing at all — bring in the broken one and we will copy it.

Our machines run overnight, unattended. That is not a gimmick. It means we can quote sharper on repeat batch work and give you a delivery date that holds.

What people come to us for

Broken parts remade. Bring the old part in. A shaft, a bush, a bearing housing, a gear blank, a bracket off a machine that stopped in 1987 and has no parts left anywhere. We measure it, model it and cut a new one.

Precision CNC turning and milling. Parts to your drawing in 4140 heat-treated, tool steels, 316 stainless and aluminium. Single parts through to production runs.

Production batches that arrive when we said they would. Repeat work is what we are built around. We already run precision crimping dies — hex and round — in ongoing batches for electrical manufacturers and wholesalers. Same discipline applies to your part.

Design and drafting. Full CAD modelling in Fusion 360. Reverse engineering from a physical part. DXFs ready for laser or waterjet. Sheet metal designed to fold properly the first time. This is a real service, not a side note — plenty of jobs start with a sketch on the back of a docket and end as a finished part.

Fabrication, sheet metal, CNC routing and 3D printing. We design it, we machine what needs machining, and we bring in our welder and our sheet metal partner for the rest. You deal with us, not with four different shops.
